history

In 1973, the first branch of the restaurant DAITOKAI (= big city) was opened.

There are currently two restaurants, one in Berlin (opened in November 1981) and the other in Cologne (opened in March 1978).

The special feature of our restaurants is the typical taste of soy sauce. In addition, the food at the table, in front of the guests, prepared. This type of cooking is called Teppan-Yaki. In the restaurant guide “Michelin” we have a good reputation.
