In 1984, Ann Lee Harris and Goetz Boje opened what would become San Francisco’s classic American steakhouse. Their vision was to create an atmosphere of traditional elegance and charm for San Franciscans and visitors alike to experience a time gone by. Renovating what was once Grison’s Steakhouse at 2100 Van Ness at the corner of Pacific Avenue, they created a lush atmosphere of dark wood, high ceilings with brass chandeliers and large leather booths.
